Position title
Development Intern or Development Associate
Position reports to
Development Coordinator and Executive Director
Job purpose summary
We need interns to help out with both the front end (outreach to potential monetary and in-kind funders) and back end (data entry, thank you notes, transcribing, administrative tasks) of our fundraising. At The Crossroads has a $650,000 budget that is 100% privately supported (no government money). We receive nearly $1,000,000 worth of in-kind donations.
This is an outstanding opportunity for people interested in gaining fundraising experience and in learning about fundraising philosophy and strategy. At The Crossroads has been recognized for its innovation in fundraising, and has developed a stable, diverse base of support. You will learn from experienced fundraising professionals, and also have the opportunity to work independently. Learn more about our I Think I Can Campaign at campaign.atthecrossroads.org and our Summer SunDay Hike for Homeless Youth at summersunday.atthecrossroads.org
Your work will help procure new resources for ATC, as well as strengthen our relationships with existing supporters.
