18 Rabbits
Inspired by mum’s recipe, Alison Bailey Vercruysse created 18 Rabbits in SF to make granola with this mantra in mind: ‘Everyone has the right to pure simple food.’ With delicious flavors like Haute Diggity Date, our hikers will appreciate her vision, too!
Affi's Marin Gourmet
Affi’s Marin Gourmet will be graciously providing our hikers with amazing all natural, freshly prepared dips from their Mediterranean inspired kitchen in San Rafael. We can't wait to nosh on their donated goods!
Andante Dairy
Has been making ATC’s community happy for years with its incredible, delectable cheeses made in nearby Petaluma. Andante has generously donated cheese for the post-hike picnic; get your bellies ready!
Bella Viva
Making sure our hikers get all the necessary nutrients to climb Tam is Bella Viva Orchards, whose amazing dried fruits will fuel as all to the top! Hikers beware: ATC has loved Bella Viva for years and we can eat. Fast.
Bi-Rite
A longtime supporter of ATC events, Bi-Rite is one of our lovely and loyal neighbors here in the Mission. They’re helping us out with a bunch of our hiking needs in the form of a gift certificate; we can’t wait to spend it!
Bryan’s Grocery
Bringing you some gourmet sandwich delights, straight out of Laurel Heights, is Bryan’s Grocery! You’ll be hungry after this hike, no doubt, and Bryan’s sandwich donation will cure whatever ails you.
Charles Chocolates
Charles (aka Chuck) Siegel is the man behind this SF-based brand, and he’s been making his renowned chocolate since 1986. He’ll be supplying our hikers with all the sugar, butter, and cacao they need to hike their hardest (or pass out from sugar comas…)!
Colibri Mexican Bistro
Although they’re only a block from Union Square, Colibri’s cuisine reflects the flavors of central Mexico. Making sure you get your greens on the mountain (and not the kind that grow on trees), Colibri is generously donating a mixed salad for the hike lunch.

Clif Bar
Clif Bars are tasty, healthy, give you energy, and are made with organic ingredients. And they’re based locally in Berkeley. Delicious and sustainable? Yes please! Clif Bars will be sustaining our hikers throughout the eight miles, too.
Della Fattoria
Della Fattoria has been a longtime supporter of ATC (and our appetites) and will be donating their brick-oven-baked, gourmet bread to Summer SunDay! Their handcrafted loaves will be the perfect snack for our hungry hikers!
Faye’s Video and Espresso Bar
Faye’s serves up its own fabulous version of peanut butter and jelly: DVDs and coffee! We think it sounds just as good and, as our neighbors right here in the Mission, we might just claim the 10 free video rentals they’re donating to the hike for our own!
G.L. Alfieri
From their family farm in Ripon, CA, G.L. Alfieri makes the best gourmet nuts and brittle in the world. No Joke! Lucky for us, they’re longtime supporters of ATC, and will be providing our hikers with their incredible products.
Galaxy Granola
Galaxy Granola is in a battle against fat (using apple sauce instead of oil), and they’re taking our hikers with them! Since it’s delicious (and free), we don’t think our hikers will mind this kind of abduction.
Gap
The Gap is a true San Francisco staple, and we are very grateful for their longtime donations to our clients and, now, to Summer SunDay! Gap is providing the t-shirts for our hikers, who will be sure to look stylish on Mt. Tam.
GirlVentures
GirlVentures is an amazing program that has empowered over 3,000 adolescent Bay Area girls through outdoor adventure, creative arts and group experiences. Rock climbers, rafters, and, yes, hikers; these awesome gals are loaning us radio communications for the hike!
Hamada Farms
Yukio Hamada and his children grow their fantastic fruit in Kingsburg, CA. From the exotic (pluots, pumelos, shaddock) to the classic (nectarines, cherries, apples) our hikers will be well taken care of by the Hamada’s generosity!

House Kombucha
House Kombucha makes its namesake (a delicious fermented tea) right here in SF and they have refill stations at several retailers around town. You can sample their generously donated product on the mountain, and meet the awesome staff (they’ll be hiking, too)!
I Melt With You
You’re going to need a serious freshening up after your 8-mile hike. Good thing I Melt With You is donating samples of their beautiful and delightfully scented artisan soap! Made in nearby Martinez, you’ll be getting clean with local goods!
K&J Orchards
Cherries and peaches and pluots, oh my! K&J Orchards is fulfilling all of our hikers’ fruit dreams with their incredible produce, all grown in Winters, CA. ATC has been enjoying K&J for years, and we’re happy to share with our hikers!
Mariposa Baking
Gluten-averse hikers, have no fear! Mariposa’s delicious artisan-crafted goodies will both energize and satisfy. You can find Mariposa at one of their two Bay Area locations (SF Ferry Building and Oakland) but we are lucky enough to have them donating!
Maury’s Massage
Based out of her beautiful home studio in Bernal Heights, Maury is an athlete completing her massage therapy certification training. Having volunteered at the San Francisco Marathon, you can bet she’ll know a thing or two about your tired, post-hike muscles!
Miette
Miette’s delightful deserts are as tasty as they are beautiful. Made in San Francisco, they’ll be generously donating their confections to the hike. We’d say they’re all the more reason to cross the finish line!
Mission Mini's
If you like your cupcakes bite sized and, um, COMPLETELY AMAZING, then Mission Minis will surely satisfy your sweet tooth. Saving the best for last, they are donating their treats to our post-hike lunch. We suggest hiking quickly, before they run out.
Mitchell's Ice Cream
Mitchell’s has been a San Francisco staple for over 50 years! They make all of their ice cream on the premises, and have flavors ranging from the exotic (avocado) to the classic (Rocky Road). We are so glad to have Mitchell’s donating some post-hike sweetness!
Pop Chips
All this talk of food is making us even more excited about the hike, especially now that San Francisco-based Pop Chips is supporting our hikers with their light and truly tasty snacks. No greasy hands for our hikers!

Based in San Francisco for over 40 years, The Real Food Company is sure to deliver quality goods. They’ll be donating sandwiches made from their all natural ingredients—that means no artificial additives, preservatives or colors for our hikers!

Rita has graced ATC with her baking magic in the past, and we’re psyched that she’s baking for the hike! Since she’s been cooking professionally in SF for 10 years in fine dining kitchens, bakeries, and confectionaries, you can rest assured: Her brownies are a delight!
The Sandwich Place
For sandwiches that delight the taste buds, fill the belly, and don’t break the bank, the Sandwich Place is the go-to spot. If you’ve ever been, you’ve met (and loved) their proprietor, Juan, who is donating a platter of deliciousness just for us!

Though they have several NorCal locations, you won’t have to travel any farther than the Bootjack rest stop to taste these awesome, hearty sandwiches! We may have to choose based on name alone…The Pastrami Mommy? The Veggie Weggie? Hmm…

Our friends at Sports Basement are making it happen for the hike, donating sport drinks, energy chews, and water coolers! They’re basically the experts in all things outdoors- and sports-related, so we’re going to go ahead and imbibe what they’ve got to offer.
Sukhi’s Authentic Indian Cuisine
Sukhi rocks. As a longtime supporter of ATC, her and her family have fed us on multiple occasions and we never get tired of her flavorful curry pastes, spice mixes and chutneys! Based in the Bay Area since 1992, Sukhi certainly knows her stuff.
Susie Cakes
Specializing in all things Americana and delicious, Susie Cakes bakes treats that call to mind kids’ birthday parties and after-school snacks. Their donated baked goods will certainly sweeten our hikers’ post-summit experience!
Sweet
Not only is Sweet, SF’s premier eco-friendly lesbian “voluntourism” agency, hiking with us on August 15th, they’re also donating a prime stash of energy bars. Their company has a strong focus on philanthropy and community—be sure to say ‘Hi’ on the trail!
Sweet Dish
Part old-time-y candy shop, part trendy boutique, Sweet Dish has been serving up their sweet treats to the Marina since 2007. And on the hike, those delicious goodies are being served up to you! If after the hike you can’t get enough…they’ve got an online store, too!
Taylor’s Tonics
Taylor’s Tonics are more than your average soda. Using old school brewing techniques and healthful ingredients, their flavors like Chai Cola and Mate Mojito are unlike any you have had before. Don’t worry, you’ll be introduced to their donated drinks on the 15th!
Trader Joe’s
The fine people at Trader Joe’s are helping us out with a gift certificate for our Summer SunDay needs! Unfortunately there won’t be any Two Buck Chuck on the hike, but we’re just as big of fans when it comes to their other treats!
Whole Foods
Not only will Whole Foods be providing our hikers with energy and fruit bars, they’ll be donating eco-friendly bags to transport all the awesome stuff our hikers will be receiving. And since that’s a lot of awesome stuff, we’re super excited!
Yerena Farms
These Watsonville-bred berries will be making their way up to the mountain for your eating pleasure on the 15th, by way of the Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market. These are organic berries here, raised by the Yerena siblings and their parents for over 20 years!
You Name it Promotions
The wonderful women at You Name it Promotions are making and donating custom Summer SunDay water bottles for all of our hikers! That’s a pretty sweet souvenir in our books! We’re so glad to have them as supporters.
